Guy Sues Over Insufficient Blowjob, Flava Flav Opens Restaurant, Kevin Smith Blasted, Big Four In California, Dead Space 2 Mothers, Cancer Girl Gets Funny Wish, History Of Gaming

Hello everyone, this is today's blog! I thought since Dead Space 2 is released today, I'd start it off with a funny trailer I've seen recently for it.

Hubert Blackman Sues Escort Service for Insufficient BJ
http://www.truecrimereport.com/2011/01/hubert_blackman_moron_of_the_d.php

In this day in age, everyone is suing everyone for just about anything. Hubert Blackman took a trip to Las Vegas last month and decided to endeavour in the motto, "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas". He ordered up a woman escort from the Las Vegas Exclusive Personals and she arrived at his hotel room in the Stratosphere Hotel, where shedid the usual strip dance for our very excited Mr. Hubert. He then agreed to pay one-hundred-twenty dollars extra for more, which must have been a blowjob. All was great and a sexual memory was made by that night, but the next morning was not so great. He ended up going through two-hundred-seventy-five dollars on this escort and she only stay a half-hour of the alotted hour Hubert says he was promised by the company. He called for a refund and they refused saying that its workers were all subcontractors and he got what he paid for. Hubert called the Las Vegas Police Department and claimed he was defrauded. What kind of idiot calls up a police department about a prostitution hook up? Anyways, of course it is illegal and Hubert would also be pursued along with this lovely escort. Funny enough they told Hubert to call the Better Business Bureau. I find that hilarious and it totally sounds like the police want you to call them about prostitution, which makes the whole ordeal that much hilarious and entertaining. The ending of this story is  that Hubert thought it'd be a better idea to sue the Exclusive Personals for 1.8 million dollars
claiming "he contracted a mental condition born from the tragic incident". I'm sorry Hubert Blackman but you're the biggest retard in the world. He should be ashamed for even sueing them, let alone for a ridiculous amount like that. Seems like Hubert just needs a girlfriend!

Flava Flav To Open Friend Chicken Restaurant In Iowa
http://www.nydailynews.com/gossip/2011/01/23/2011-01-23_rapper_flava_flav_to_open_fried_chicken_restaurant_in_iowa_col_sanders_you_bette.html

Yeah Boyee! The reality television star and rapper of Public Enemy is opening a fried chicken restaurant in Clinton, Iowa. This town is a population of 26 000 and is two-hundred miles west of Chicago. The restaurant name is going to be called "Flav's Fried Chicken Monday" and he has been in Iowa getting ready for the opening and he said he is even ready to work the fryer. This should be interesting seeing Flav work in a restaurant kitchen. In a YouTube video he even said, "I always said to myself, 'Col. Sanders, you better watch out. Your boy Flava Flav is coming and you better watch out". The idea of the restaurant came from the 99-cent wings that he served at the Mama Cimino in Las Vegas and his business partner is the brother of said restaurant's owner. It is very humorous
and educational to note that Flava Flav has a degree in culinary and restaurant experience, which I find kind of scary. Although I find it weird he is going about opening a restaurant, I give props to him for wanting to work and serve chicken to people. Here is a video of an interview, where he also talks about his secret recipe and he seems to know what he's talking about. Congratulations Flava Flav!

Screen Junkies Blast Kevin Smith For Giving Indie Filmmakers Hope
http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/movie-news/why-kevin-smiths-indie-2-0-is-complete-b-s-3/

Alright, so Screen Junkies is hating on Kevin Smith because of his idea of releasing his new movie "Red State". Smith's idea is that if he can make a successful independent film then others can to. I admire his passion for this and think it is a good idea, but Screen Junkies apparently doesn't. They believe that since he already is popular that trying to self-release a movie will just give false hope to independent filmmakers. I am sorry but you guys are totally wrong. Kevin Smith is set to do a fifteen-city tour that is going to begin in March and he will not be spending any money on advertising. If everything goes as he plans it, Smith will have broke even and got back the four million dollars the production cost and make profit. After this he will try to make a deal with theater owners to have a release of October 19th, which is cleverly the anniversary of the Clerks release. The issue I have with Screen Junkies blasting is that they're making a big deal about the fact that he is already popular. If you look on the bright side of Kevin Smith's idea, you will relize that in this day in age, you do not need money to help you go far. All you need is the mind set, the camera, the goal, and the inspiration. With all the social media networks these days like Twitter, Podcasts and YouTube, you don't need to pay for advertising and it is an easy way to reach out to find a fan base. You don't need to sell to studios to be successful these days and there are many ways to advertise without spending any  money. I think what Kevin Smith is doing is great and I think they are only bashing him because they think that he has an unfair start in popularity for people to follow and watch Red State. I know he does have more popularity than the aspiring independent filmmakers, but at least he is trying to bring hope to them.
